For bass boat owners who may not need a full 5 degree adjustment to level their trolling motors, this is the answer. This particular leveling wedge was designed for 1997-2003 TR 19/20/21 Triton boats that have the long bow shrouds up front. The five degree wedge causes the trolling motor to lay back too far which will damage the bow shroud of these particular boats. The 2.5 will lift the back of the motor to give clearance while still offering some adjustment.
